Friday

It's Friday night and I just came up with this great idea! Why not make a combination of my two greatest passions and combine alarm clock and futon?! I took a little PhotoShop Course last week, that was quite expensive actually. Could've probably bought about 15 or 20 alarm clocks for the price I paid for the 3 hour lecture, but I'm not bitter, cause without it I would not have been able to make an image like this! I'm soooo stoked! Not because of the fact that I'm able to put the two together, but because it's just never seen before, at least I haven't! I saved it as a JPEG on a disc and took it to the printer downtown so they could make a poster for me. It cost $58 (yeaaah a bit pricy I know) and I'm going to pick it up tomorrow at noon. I know excactly where to put it. I have this old 7up poster on my door, that's ben hanging there since the mid 90's, so it's definitely time for a face/doorlift lol. I'll scrap the 7up and make room for my new "Alarm Clock On Futon Bed" poster. I'll see if I can get a digicam so I can post a pic of it, until then, here's the image/poster:)
I'm planing on making some T-Shirts as well. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further info.

P.S. The image is copyrighted, so don't use without permission...please,....you will be slapped.....in the face!!!!!;)

Take a look at this baby! Just received this ultimate Futon mattres. I found it online at one of my favorite futon dealers. The shipping was about three weeks and believe me, it was probably the three longest weeks in my life!!!! Could hardly concentrate about work or anything, but it gave me time to build the perfect case for it. I had the measurements for the matress, but was of course extremely nervous that it wouldn't fit! After three hard weeks of exhausting anticipation I finally received the beauty and I can proudly annouce, that it fit like hand in glove....a glove that fits the hand that is! It is probably the flagship of my collection thus far and is still my prefered Sunday mattres!

Old V.S. new! Awkward design, I know, but this one is really special. It looks like an old clock from the 20's, but it has digital numbers on it....SWEEEEEET!!!! Totally old and new at the same time. A collectors dream!

I really like where technology is taking alarm clocks. Found this super sweet new design that allows me to wake up to my favorite Enya tracks every morning. I wasn't too keen on it to begin with, cause I really like the original buzz and beep sounds, but I must admit it has grown on me! I'm always up front with the latest in alarm clocks, so I had to get this one the day it was released. I realize that I could probably have purchased about three or four regular clocks for the price of one of these, but so far it's been worth it.

Last April I had the best birthday EVER!!!! Some of my friends took me out to the greatest futon sale I've ever been to. My gift was that I could pick out any futon in the store on their bill. I ended up buying two more and came home that night with three great futons. Definitely a day I'll never forget:) Thanks again friends, you're the best!

SWEEEEET, just found an awesome illustration that shows how futon mattreses are put together. This is so cool, I just had to share this one!

Just got a new sweet alarm clock for my collection!!! A shame you can't hear what it sounds like. It has this really cool beep sound and of course a super nice design, can't wait to wake up tomorrow. I'm so excited that I actually set it to go off two hours before I usually get up, so I can snooze it over and over again.

Hello everybody:) This blogging thing is awesome and a great way for me to express my love for alarm clocks and futons. I've loved them ever sice I can remember and probably will for the rest of my life. The cool thing about Futons (besides being great to look at and sleep on) is that they stay warm in winter and cold in summer!!! That just blows my mind. It takes some very special people to come up with science like that and I really admire them. Well, let me start out by posting a pic of a beautiful Futon I've had my eye on for the past two weeks.
